Well, I just did a Google search and it says Maui specifically is the heart chakra of the-

... planet, so the island next to the big island supposedly.

And according to the National Weather Service, we'll see the heaviest of the rain over those windward and mauka neighborhoods.

And you see each of the islands right now seeing some passing showers, pretty heavy over windward Maui and over the Ko'olau mountains, some heavy pockets of rain coming through.

So be careful out there.

It is gonna be quite slick, maybe up to six inches or more of rain over the mountains.

The Hawaii Tourism Authority says before Lowell, Kauai tourism was doing fairly well, with 873,000 arrivals in the first seven months of the year, and $1.76 billion in revenue.

Officials say they don't know how much revenue will be lost, but said they're being careful about their tourism messaging and have no official date when visitors will be welcomed back.

We're being very, uh, respectful and cautious about our approach going forward because of what we experienced with the Maui wildfires.

So we're very sensitive to that.

Now, you can think of that, I suppose, as moving beyond a border in consciousness.

We wanted to leave Will alone so he can enjoy his holiday.

but he will be back um for the uh podcast ooh on friday which is going to be a good one he's a buddy of mine kind of my first mentor in the mortgage industry he's the one that showed me how to do mortgages best salesman i've ever met in my life his name is tim elkins he uh Was a mortgage guy, started some mortgage companies that did extremely well, and then he sold them for a gazillion dollars, and he moved out to Texas and just on a whim started a cattle ranch.

um lauren frank uh they came into the y laura uh contacted contacted us our our coordinator um and was like hey like i really don't have like i'm i need some financial assistance uh really for my husband frank like he loves to swim um back where we're from like he used to just be always in the ocean like every morning he would swim he'd go swim in the ocean um we're here now because the, uh, it, when the Lahaina fires in Maui, uh, kind of wiped out that community and their home.

Um, it was extra tough because, and she's like living with her, I believe it was her daughter at that time.

Um, It was extra tough because they were just moving into retirement and were getting ready to have that portion of their life.
