I got Patriots offense versus Seahawks defense, and my question is, who's in this secondary?
So the key is, can you protect Drake May long enough to punish this incredibly injured Seahawk secondary? I feel like this snuck up on people outside of Seattle, but Seattle is heavily undermanned coming into this game.
Uh, Tyrokota, who was the second safety with, uh, Kobe Bryant gone next to Julian Love, out.
Uh, Bud Clark, who was the, uh, rookie that they drafted this year in the second round, lost for the season.
Nicky Manuwari looks like won't play in this game, or if he does, it would be in some very limited capacity.
But, like, I, I'm looking at this Patriots revamped group of pass catchers, and I think there's a litany of ways they can attack.
The question, Dominique, and this is obviously s- a referendum a little bit on the Super Bowl, where Drake May was under siege, can Seattle come up with ways or pressure Drake May enough to the point where they can mitigate that to some degree?
And I guess the way that you phrase it doesn't really matter, but, like, I phrase it differently because of the Super Bowl.
It's not can Seattle get there, [laughs] it's can the Patriots protect him? Like-
Like, it was, it felt like we had to a referendum on, like, arm length for tackles and on their whole offense.
Like, that was a such an enormous story immediately after the Super Bowl and throughout the Super Bowl.
I was sitting there watching it in LA, ironically, where next year's Super Bowl will be with, like, Rex Ryan and some of the other people there, and they were just going, some of the other, like, football people we have at our company, they were just going nuts.
