Who Runs the Big 12? Power Rankings, Weekend Picks & ASU vs. Kansas State

I think the clear number one and the favorite right now is BYU, who is undefeated, earning our top spot in this ranking.

I don't think it's even a question.

The biggest question here is, will there be a letdown? This weekend at UCF, they're favored by six and a half on the road.

This is one of those really bizarre games for BYU.

You just come off potentially the biggest win in the history of your program at home in a regular season game.

you know, fans rush the field.

This is a huge, huge dump of emotion, just everything that led into this game, and they get the win.

Now you've got to travel to the furthest team away in the Big 12 and take on UCF, who's not a bad football team by any means.

So this is a game I remember in the Pac-12.

This is like going to Oregon State in November, you know, if you're a team in Arizona.

It's just cold.

It's different.

It's far away.

It's hard to get to.

And I don't know that BYU is genuinely the second best team in America or they're simply ranked the second best team in America.

Of course, they've earned that right.

And I'm huge.

I'm big on BYU.

But the best teams...

And the thing that BYU does really well is they run the football and stop the run, and that always travels.

So I would expect for them to get it done, but don't be surprised if it's a little rocky at UCF this weekend.

Number two, give me the Utes.

I'm still really high on Utah, even though they almost lost last week.

which was very surprising.

They almost lost to Colorado.
