I need to see, I need to see Arizona State go out and make a statement this week.

Kenny Dillingham is one of the most underappreciated coaches in the sport at this point because of how people are dissing this ASU team, saying they're gonna take a step back, they're a 6-1 team, whatever.

Again, he had Sam Levitt, he had Cam Skaboo, and he had Jordan Tyson on the same field.

They would've beat Texas in the college football playoff if Jordan Tyson was healthy, but he never is 'cause his bones are made of paper.

I know we're talking right here in the wake of that game in Australia, and everybody's talking about the big brain on Sean McVay.

I don't know what Kenny Dillingham's exact plan is in terms of the way that they're preparing, but I do know that it's so hot out there in Tempe that sometimes they have to play football in the morning just as like a, a, like a human health issue.

So the fact that they're gonna be playing at 11:00 AM Central Time in College Station against Texas A&M, I'm, I'm putting body clock to the side, because I think Arizona State's gonna hit the ground running.

I think that in Arizona State's 2026 team, there might be some questions about defensive depth.

And I'm looking at players who are good elsewhere showing up with a new quarterback and a new offensive system and looking like they're ready to thrive.

I think that that's a spot where Arizona State can be frisky.

If you wanna take Arizona State plus 14 and a half, as I've heard a lot of people say, I think that one reason you do that is 'cause Kenny Dillingham has shown at Arizona State he's gonna get that team ready for the biggest games and the toughest opponents.

They're gonna rise up, and they're gonna throw some haymakers.

Yeah.

Like, I don't even know if Kenny Dillingham knows what to expect from his team as well.

But this could be a lower – I mean, totally, you're sitting and seeing it sit right around there at 50-51 or so.

Like, A&M's offense really struggled last week for definitely the first half and even on after that.

Um...

It's hard to get a read on this game, but the last time a Kenny Dillingham offense played a Mike Elko defense was September 21st, 2019.

I'm sure if you have not been addicted to college football as much as the rest of us, you would wonder when that was.

Kenny Dillingham was Auburn's offensive coordinator in 2019, along with Elko being A&M's defensive coordinator in 2019.

Kenny Dillingham won that matchup 28-20.

I'm going to say this is about the same in terms of score, and I do think the explosiveness of the A&M wide receivers take over and they win a good game.

Not to mention Reuben Foster for A&M is an animal.

One thing that I forgot to put in here that I do want to hit on, Arizona State has former Kentucky highly rated recruit Cutter Bowley playing quarterback in his second year.

So for Marcel, against the Arizona State offense that would cut her, I think cut her boldly, who's a transfer from Kentucky, at quarterback, Amarian Miller at wide receiver.

You know that they're going to try and Kenny, I think it's Kenny Dillingham.

As the head coach, you expect them to try and put points up, right, and try to outscore you because, you know, you're texting them.

Your offense should have some success against their defensive unit.

I think it's an opportunity for Kenny Dillingham to kind of...

Remind people how good he was two years ago when they made the playoff and almost beat Texas.

If they're able to, I don't know, at least keep it close, people might pay a little more attention to Arizona State.

So I don't see this being, you know, a blowout.

I feel like that 14 and a half is a little much.

I think that they make up for kind of messing around last week with Boise State, and they drop a very large number on the Cowboys of Oklahoma State, who I don't think are ready for primetime in a game like this.
