Just before I get into my likely to be controversial opening commentary here, I would just like to say Mark Tang and I were going back and forth on this by text last night or yesterday afternoon as we were watching the Jays.

The most brilliant thing that baseball did in 1995 was change to the wildcard system.

And because how it used to be is whichever team won the division were the teams that got into the playoffs.


And it would be interesting, oh, yeah, Vladdy seems to be heating up and, you know, too late.

That new guy they have batting leadoff and playing – Centrefield seems—yeah, too late.
