Now during the Reformation, which was a period in the 1500s in church history, where the church was going on course and got kind of lost in its own traditions and rituals, something that's happened in church history at various points.

Remember, in the Gospel of Mark, we read about Jesus challenging the Pharisees and the Sadducees, saying, you've made your traditions, which are but rules taught by men, and you've made them equal with God.

He said that Our traditions, as human beings, though they might be good, they're not equal to the Word of God.

But the word of God was still the word of God when men, as Peter said, carried along by the Holy Spirit spoke the word of God to people.

Are you with me, okay? Peter preached that sermon, and it was the word of God, and the Christians wrote things down, and the word was passed orally, and then eventually it was written down.

But even when it was written down, we have different cultures that have happened throughout the ages.

But Gutenberg and the invention of the printing press is the device that is the catalyst for the Reformation.
