LeBron’s Next Team Could Redraw The NBA Map-Are Lakers Done With Free Agency?

OK, so we last left off with where we think LeBron is going to go.

And we are still talking about where the hell LeBron is going to go.

The only thing that's probably changed since the last time we talked about it was that Jalen Brown got traded to the Sixers.

That's kind of thrown a wrench in his decisions, I believe.

If it wasn't for the Sixers, I...

I don't know.

I don't know if he would have made a decision by now, but you think it would have been an easier decision to be made at this point.

It would have been at least down to the three teams that we've talked about, Golden State, Cleveland, and Miami.

But throwing that fourth team in there, I think that has really changed everything.

I, I guess we really should have took LeBron for, for his word when he mentioned like, I think right after the off season, like, Hey, I'm going to make my decision late July, August.

And of course it put, uh, Lakers nation, um, uh, in kind of a frustration kind of mode because it's like, hey, there's no way you can wait that long and make a decision.

And so I think maybe the writing was on the wall at that time with that comment.

We probably should have known, okay, well, that just means he's probably leaving the Lakers.

And that's exactly what happened.

I guess what I'm surprised about, I don't think we ever thought that he was going to be in a situation where he was going to take like a minimum deal.

Um, I still don't know if that's what he's going to take, but we know that the teams that, uh, are kind of, uh, running for his services are not going to be able to pay him nearly what he has been making as of late so i think that's why it's like a huge surprise obviously if we would have known in the season hey like he's willing to just be happy and take whatever uh we probably wouldn't be like as surprised um i had a feeling it was gonna be uh like kind of drawn out a little bit that i think this long no but then i started thinking about it right the world cup as i mentioned earlier and just you know summer vacations and things like that um where i'm like okay like it's got to be soon and if anything like you mentioned we we have like more teams now that he can potentially go to versus before it was it's probably going to be cleveland or golden state right where where he can play with uh obviously some some great players in golden state or go back home to cleveland and now with philly being uh thrown in the mix miami obviously yeah i i have a just a big feeling that it's either going to happen tomorrow or thursday because it does get to the point where it's like okay yeah we're over it right if you wait too long if you wait another week or two i think people are going to move on you know what i mean i think the world cup's done right but uh he's got center stage now which is obviously something he wants and tomorrow or thursday i i think it gets done now to whom i don't know but we can maybe talk about that

now would you want this to drop on like a shams tweet or would you just want them for like lebron to go live or to say hey like i've made a decision and kind of do it himself because i feel like There's too much anticipation, too much buildup for it just to be a random tweet I wake up at 5.30 in the morning to that LeBron's going somewhere.

So I don't know why, but I expect something to happen where like, all right, we're going live to LeBron at his house with his daughter and his wife or something like that, and they've made a decision.

But also that might not be a good look too because then everybody expects that.

Yeah, I could see that.

It's a good thought, like kind of coming full circle because we know his first decision since then has obviously been controversial, the way he exited Cleveland the first time and went to Miami.
