Stiebel's shooting no-dip threes.
J. Kyle MannHOST
19:47
You've got LaRavia, classic play-with-Luca guy.
J. Kyle MannHOST
19:51
You've got the secondary handler like a Quentin Grimes who cross-witches and guards.
J. Kyle MannHOST
19:56
It's a lot of the classic archetypes and then the Walker-Kessler stuff.
Anthony DiNardoHOST
14:52
And then they did beat Atlanta, who I do think is a nice team.
Anthony DiNardoHOST
14:55
So... that was a nice win but i just think the heat are really rolling right now i think on paper uh there's very few teams that are better than them i don't think one of those teams is the lakers uh although they have a nice roster they're still integrating a bunch of new role players i actually want to take a look at who the lakers started in their last game because i assume they'll start the same guys tonight so it looks like last game they went with reeves and luca of course And then I'm guessing they had Matisse probably run the three with LaRavia at the four and Kessler at the five.
Anthony DiNardoHOST
15:29
And wow, we had Kessler with six for six again.
Anthony DiNardoHOST
15:31
He's had a couple games this year where he didn't miss.
Anthony DiNardoHOST
17:41
Obviously only four attempts, but still 48% from three.
Anthony DiNardoHOST
17:44
So definitely don't want to leave him open.
Anthony DiNardoHOST
17:48
But yeah, Jake LaRavia this season.
Anthony DiNardoHOST
17:51
I know he didn't have a great year last year with the Lakers.
Rob MahoneyGUEST
45:57
Let's go.
Rob MahoneyGUEST
45:57
Let's do a joint recognition for Matisse, Diable, Jake LaRavia, Zyra Williams for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Rob MahoneyGUEST
46:05
And I say that specifically because the, Look, the best way that the Lakers can kind of take the pressure off Luca is by generating a ton of live ball turnovers.
Rob MahoneyGUEST
46:14
And guess what? This team is generating a fuck ton of live ball turnovers.
Jovan BuhaHOST
8:25
But...
Jovan BuhaHOST
8:26
The Lakers got to figure that out, though, because, again, I think that second, they went with a group that I believe it was Kessler, Mamou, Jake, Austin, Sexton.
Jovan BuhaHOST
8:37
I think that's a better core lineup among bench guys with a couple starters in there.
Jovan BuhaHOST
8:45
versus the mom who had the five plus three guards.
Jovan BuhaHOST
9:43
Giannis is going to put a ton of paint and rim pressure on their defense.
Jovan BuhaHOST
9:48
I'm really curious to see who matches up with him.
Jovan BuhaHOST
9:51
I would assume it's going to be either Jake Laravia or Zaire Williams if Zaire is able to return.
Jovan BuhaHOST
9:57
But that's a hell of a matchup to be thrown back into is arguably the best penetrator in the league and just a matchup nightmare.
Real TalkPANELIST

Not a good enough player.
Real TalkPANELIST
7:14
Same thing with Jake LaRavia.
Real TalkPANELIST

The list goes on.
Real TalkPANELIST

Ron, I had to admit this.

Matisse Thibault continues to be amazing i'm so glad that he's healthy because this is the type of matisse you get when he's healthy and i mentioned it on x last night but matisse is the only nba player right now especially only rotation player who has averages of 2.13 pointers made per game 40 plus percent from three um two steals and 0.9 blocks so he has that rare trifecta combo of literally three and d like a 40 plus percent three point shooter knocking down nearly two threes a game two steals a game and nearly a block a game he's the only nba player currently putting up that combination of stats so he's Kudos to Matisse Thibel continuing to do it on both ends and then keeping it simple when he has to attack the closeout or whatever.
Jonathan HernandezHOST
18:25
What else? Jake LaRavia had another solid game filling in for Zaire Williams.
Jonathan HernandezHOST
18:29
Eight rebounds, knocked down another two threes, four assists, one steal, one block.
Jonathan HernandezHOST
18:34
Thought he probably should have gotten a little bit more minutes and probably taken away some minutes from Quentin Grimes.
Jonathan HernandezHOST
19:57
I was pretty disappointed by Quentin Grimes.
Jonathan HernandezHOST
19:59
You know, I had made a video earlier that day talking about, you know, the Lakers have a Quentin Grimes problem, problem in quotes, but I think it was more like Quentin Grimes needs a little bit of a lobotomy, a little bit of a mindset shift because it seems like he's too scared to shoot right now.
Jonathan HernandezHOST
20:18
I had mentioned that it's giving off Jake LaRavia vibes.
Jonathan HernandezHOST
20:23
March 2026 vibes with regards to La Ravia just forgetting how to shoot or not wanting to shoot overall and over-attacking the closeout.
Anthony SainPANELIST
58:55
Oh, yeah, y'all better.
John RoserPANELIST
58:58
Don't talk about Jake LaRavia like that.

Leroy HoardHOST

They got the most intangibles on the roster than anybody.
Brendan TobinHOST
45:30
They got Reeves, Luka, Walker Kessler, Jake LaRavia, and then they put Theibel in there just so it's not all 1950s Celtics.
Leroy HoardHOST
45:39
Walker Kessler.
Brendan TobinHOST
45:40
Yep.
Kevin RoweADVERTISER

Not what we were expecting.
Brendan TobinHOST
22:02
And who's going to do something? LaRavia? No.
Brendan TobinHOST
22:06
Sorry, intangibles.
Brendan TobinHOST
22:07
The ride is over.
