Gronk and Julian Edelman React to NFL Week 7 & Bad Officiating | Gronk & Jules Show

Let's start down in Houston, guys, for a wild one that needed overtime to settle this thing.

27-21, the Giants escape on the road.

Scat was back.

Guys, is Double Nine the guy or what? What do we think? I think this was his best game

as a pro.

Yeah, but we're kind of at that 100 million percent was his best game as a pro.

Come on now, Julian.

I mean, the guy has thrown for basically 400 yards in the last five quarters that he's played, you know, the game of football with the New York Giants.

But here's the thing.

It's like the first week of the season.

We're overreacting here.

It was his very first start with the New York Giants.

Yeah, he's been dominant since he's been, you know, playing for the Giants, you know, since last week when he was put in in the fourth quarter.

But he's He's doing great.

But can you say, is he the guy yet? I'm not 100% sure until you show that consistency.

That's what it's all about in the NFL.

Any quarterback can have one big game.

We've seen that plenty of times.

But I feel like he's on the right path.

What I've seen with him in the last two weeks in New York, you saw none of that in Minnesota.

It questions me.

What was going on with J.J. McCarthy in Minnesota? Was he unhappy? Was he in the wrong system? Did he not like his coaching staff? I mean, there's so many factors that play into it, and all the factors had to be going against him.

It wasn't just all, you know, he's unhappy, but he likes the coaching staff.

All of them had to be going against him that he didn't like.

in order to be performing the way he was performing in Minnesota because all of a sudden he gets to the Giants.
