As a Saints fan, here we go again, right? Look, I watched a lot of NFL games in my time on this earth, okay? And I have never, and I'll say it again, never seen that play called a forward pass or the mind-blowing explanation of the rule being the quarterback's intent to throw a forward pass.

Now, you know, the Internet, social media, has exploded with examples of NFL quarterbacks getting strip-sacked, and in no time was this arbitrary rule that they found out there, that would be Rule 8, Section 1, that was interpreted on Sunday in Detroit by replay official Mark Butterworth or the explanation by Fox Sports rules official Mike Pereira of Lions quarterback Jared Goff's intent to throw a forward pass I mean, all you got to look at, again, is those that played the game or play the game.

Current NFL players, former NFL players scoffing at the rule interpretation, right? There is video evidence that has flooded the Internet and social media of that exact play being called a fumble or backwards pass in game after game after game after game, season after season after season after season.

And I just got my internet set up.

And the first thing that I did was turn on the sketchy Fox Sports stream of Red Bull versus Tijuana at 10 p.m. on a Tuesday.

And all I saw was Luis Robles pulling out stop after stop after stop and putting up this miraculous run.

That defense also put up some really good numbers back in the day.

According to beat writer Brady Henderson, Darnold is dealing with a, quote, "unique soft tissue glute injury" that is considered short-term.

However, there are other reports out there that say he could miss anywhere from four to six weeks, and Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reported that the Seahawks are gathering four second opinions.

Already the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks are forced to roll with Drew Locke after Sam Darnold was knocked out with a hip injury on just his fifth snap against the Patriots.

Seattle is relieved that Darnold didn't suffer a season-ending fractured hip socket, but he is expected to miss time with what Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reported as a tendon injury to his glute.

The Seahawks are seeking multiple medical opinions to determine the extent and the rehab plan.

The Vikings, meanwhile, won with Carson Wentz coming off the bench, 19 of 23, 133 yards, three TDs, zero interceptions, 123.5 passive reading, after Kyler Murray was knocked out in the first quarter with a concussion.

If you get, and let's keep politics out of it, but you get half of the political power atmosphere going all in on your race you that that's why that race did so well and you had so many new people sampling it because they may not be into sports but the people they follow in the political world said this is going to be cool and they decided to sample it So that is one of the reasons why that worked.
