chaos in my skull the devil sure been creeping like a hamster wheel spinning the despair's been lurking i say a little prayer to seek a small reprieve a relief from the dark cloud hanging over me and i know lord you watch To see if I keep my word.

You've seen every stupid act.

And every thought of mine you've heard.

And my pleas to you above shall never manifest.

If I never tend to the fire burning in my chest.

And live the truth with full intent.

And never second guess no other truth.

Then this life you gave is a life fully blessed.

And I know, Lord, you watch to see if I keep my word.

When I finally lay my head to rest and my earthly body comes undressed, may I find my light right in thy hands and stand with you in holy lands.

When I finally unearth my earthly form and my soul is bared and fully adorned and my spirit is breathed in the lungs of you and my body is made with skies of blue, May you call my name with no blame to give.

And in your eye may I eternally live.

Come home to rest in your house on high and sing with the angels for all of time.
