Gnosticism

I wanted to make it so that you could really, uh, I think, uh, uh, a teenager could read it, you know, a 14, 13, 14, 15-year-old could read it or a 90-year-old could read it, and be able to acce- you know, to, to find it very accessible.

In this era that we're living in, in the chaos that we're amongst, the information wars, there's this emerging Gnostic view of reality.

People are looking at reality as if this realm is a trap, as if everything we experience here is to feed darkness or dark non-human entities.

And even in the afterlife, we're deceived to return here to do it all over again so that we can be essentially food for the archons.

But I see the, I see, uh...

I, I feel like that's...

The Gnost- the the Nic- the Gnostic description you're talking to, about me about reminds me more of, like, a David Icke kind of-

Yeah

...

in that it says that some of the Gnostic insight that comes from encountering awe, from encountering the sublime, from being undone by beauty, by music, by, by rapture, by communion, by catharsis, that there's, that there's knowledge to be harvested from these states that can be applied interdisciplinary to create a society of the mind.

Because as we move to a world of exponential technology, this power of gods is going to require the wisdom of gods, you know? And, and, and, and this is where, you know, maybe [chuckles] I'm being a little bit ambitious, but I think there's something to be found in these states that I would say are beyond thesis and antithesis.

They're beyond the intractability of our current world conflict, and they are realms where synthesis is what is born, you know? Where, where, where opposites reconcile from a higher dimensional perspective.

And these are Gnostic insights familiar to people that pay visitation to ecstatic states, to awe and wonder, and that's what I've really, what I've really mapped in this book.

And, and I used transhuman technology to help me organize it, which is pretty fucking amazing.

It really is.

Um, I want you to tell me a little bit of the history of psychedelics as you know it, um, and how they bleed into society in general, how they've bled into it up until and how they continue to bleed.

And so the, the clues are that, you know, all of the, you know, all the, the deep stuff is in the trash strata of, of culture as I think Philip K. Dick I think used that, uh, that expression.

And that was part of Philip K. Dick's, uh, Gnostic mysticism, which is kind of a precursor to the pop culture synchromysticism you see, uh, on display, you know, all over the Internet today.

Uh, this idea that y- all the secrets are hidden in, in what is being rejected by the culture, which isn't a new idea.

I mean, it's in alchemy.

Just like dumb stuff like that.

So all, all, all kinds of thematic misdirection.

But yeah, I think that it's also just kind of rubbing your face in the idea that the movie is trying to, trying to keep you trapped in this, uh, this endless Gnostic maze of looking for, uh, of looking for meaning within, uh, w- with- within all these rabbit holes within pop culture because you can't fight Gnosticism with Gnosticism or, uh, you know, the i- the idea that this movie has this kind of idea of the elite, the wealthy and elite who wanna make themselves immortal, these tran- you know, or, or they wanna have a, a rich life underground before through some kind of ceremonial ritual ascending into the light of the ether.

Um, but then the movie is just basically giving you a Gnostic formulation of conspiracy theory, of, uh, of reality is nothing but codes all the way down and really just have to accept that, you know, th- you know, that you're trapped in that.

is just the way that Crowley related to the idea of being satanic, being Satan's chief of staff, as he said at one point.

Just because with a lot of occultists, you kind of get the sense that they're in some way knowingly interacting with what they consider to be demonic entities, but they've got a very distorted view of reality, that they really are trying to replace the kind of Christian framework, Christ and Satan, good and evil, with something more blurry and, you know, Gnostic or pagan or something like that.

But, you know, Crowley, you know, like really is kind of the worst in as much as he is worse than that in as much as he is saying that he never really rejected the, you know, the theology of his upbringing when he's like talking back about the Plymouth Brethren.

You know, he said that he accepted it and just decides, you know, that he wants to take Satan's side and he can't, you know, against Christ.

It can be enjoyment of power, social success, professional success.

It can even be spiritual enjoyment in the New Age sense, Gnostic sense, if realizing your ego, of realizing your ego, and so on.

To which my response was, I disagree.

If anything, we are in an anti-enjoyment, anti-pleasure, anti-sex, anti-personal fulfillment and empowerment era.

So he's very influential.

And actually, if you listened to my many articles about Gnosticism, and so if you have a basic understanding of Gnosticism, which I hope you do by now, he teaches Gnosticism, right? So I feel that even in and of itself kind of makes my point, confirms what I've been saying all along, that Gnosticism is the religion behind communism.

Because here you have someone who very much, who did, this is the one person, you know, who's probably been able to really get the CCP's stance and the CCP's propaganda against the West.

really across and really reach a Western audience who is susceptible to the CCP's anti-capitalist, anti-Western propaganda.

Like I said, he's not a professor.

He's an English teacher at a high school.

But for some strange reason, what he actually talks about in his lectures, even at the high school, is actually Gnosticism.

He talks about Gnosticism.

And so these type of false teachings that people might want to embrace because an aspect of the faith makes them uncomfortable can lead us into dangerous directions.

You know, Trevor, actually the oldest heresy is Gnosticism.

That's what they fought from early on.

But what amazes me is we're only a couple hundred years out and already this is creeping into the church.

We know this is wrong, that's wrong.

But within, there was creeping in this false teaching, false belief, really.

And it's really amazing that Paul warns about things that would creep up, like Gnosticism.

I think it was in an early form at that time.

That God is just the totality of all experience, good and bad and happy and sad and whatnot.

And you end up with your yin-yang and your dualistic pictures of reality or your Gnostic cosmologies and stuff.

I think that they've got a lot to say.

I think, like...

It's right.

It's very akin to Gnosticism where only a certain few have this special knowledge and all the, to borrow phrase from Harry Potter, all the muggles out there don't have this special knowledge.

So you just need to listen to me and trust me that I know stuff that you don't.

And I'm going to reveal that to you through this translation.
