Gnosis

He sees nothing but God.

If Gnosis were to take visible shape, all who looked thereon would die at the sight of its beauty and loveliness and goodness and grace, and every brightness would become dark beside the splendor thereof.

Gnosis is nearer to silence than to speech.

When the heart weeps because it has lost, the spirit laughs because it has found.

Nothing sees God and dies, even as nothing sees God and lives, because his life is everlasting.

They descend from God into his heart, without his being able to repel them when they come, or to retain them when they go.

The Sufi's path is not finished until he has traversed all the stages, making himself perfect in every one of them before advancing to the next, and has also experienced whatever states it pleases God to bestow upon him.

Then, and only then, is he permanently raised to the higher planes of consciousness, which Sufis call the Gnosis, and the Truth, where the seeker, Talib, becomes the knower or Gnostic, and realizes that knowledge, knower, and known are one.

And they were called the Gnostics.

And the reason why it was called Gnosticism or Gnosis is the idea of Gnosis is that you know.

You know how this works out.

You know it's going to be okay.

You can have instant access to any sort of information that you want, but this access is not the same thing as knowing.

Yes, you can understand something, but do you have a bodily embodied knowledge of that thing? This is what we call gnosis.

Gnosis is like the mystery of a thing.

It's direct in spiritual circles.

It is the direct knowledge and understanding of God without having to necessarily go through scripture or an external authority.

I've always found that very interesting because Pluto kind of comes and goes.

So if you have a more conceptual relationship with Dath or non-dual Gnosis, maybe that also comes and goes just like Pluto.

I don't know.

Just an interesting conceptual way to think about it, I think.

And how a series of synchronicities and experiences led him into this work, and eventually into creating Aeon Byte.

We talk about Gnosis, and Miguel says it's experiential.

At one point, he puts it very plainly.

Gnosis is just going home.

That idea comes up again and again as we talk.

From there, we get into Archons and Abraxas, and why the language around them stays ambiguous in Gnostic texts.

So when you see it that way, it's easier to understand, I think.

Oh, yeah, that that's actually quite fascinating.

But there was the...

The Agawad represented the state of Gnosis.

And it was believed that we had like seven seals... which were the seven chakra or the seven psychic centers of our spiritual body.

And once those were open, it led to the Agawad, which was the state of gnosis, which was, and so that's what his name 888 literally alludes to.

So like, um, Prudence overtook lust.

Temperance overtook gluttony, as examples.

But each of those, there was a correlation, in that as each of those seven seals were then opened through the virtues, this suppressed the seven deadly sins, And it led one to this eighth sphere, the Agawad, which was the Gnosis.

It also just so happens that the first six, according to the Eastern traditions, the first six chakra have a total of 144 petals on them.

That's the illusion that man fell.

And then says, Jesus was using gnosis, G-N-O-S-I-S, which means hidden knowledge.

Hidden knowledge, it's kind of a secret knowledge, but the masters know, you know, the people with authority know.
