Alpha and Omega

And remember, it says, and hath made us kings and priests.

Okay, because this message is for the average man, okay? Here it says, Revelation 1.8, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Once again, it says it again, okay? Here is the Gematria.

I just want to show this.

And the reason that we're showing this Gematria, we could do every verse if we wanted, but we're just not going to do that.

But the reason we're showing this specifically is because what it's giving you here is an actual cycle of a beginning and an ending.

And that's exactly what Alpha and Omega symbolize.

It's also the Greek alphabet, which we'll get to that.

Revelation 21, 6 says, And he said unto me, It is done.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.

I will give unto him that is a thirst.

Stop there.

Look at Revelation 22, 13 again.

Notice God used that term of himself.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Again, does God have a beginning? No.

His timeless existence transcends time even as he envelops all time.

Revelation 1.8, I am the Alpha and Omega, says the Lord God, who is, who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.

That title, Alpha and Omega, belongs to the Lord God Himself.

and is applied to the glorified one, Christ.

Revelation 1.8, Revelation 22.13.

Now Jesus addresses John directly and declares, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is and which was and which is to come, the Almighty.

Now whether or not this is Jesus or God, it really is immaterial because Jesus addresses John in a moment in verse... 11, saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, and what you see right in a book.

Now, if God declares of himself, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending, and Jesus declares, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending, you know, I used to take geometry back in the ancient days, and there was something about equal angles and equal sides, you know, make an isosceles triangle or something, you know, They are equal.

Angles are equal, sides are equal, and they become equal.

Is that a reference to Jesus Christ in the New Testament as well in the Doctrine and Covenants? Yeah,

alpha and omega.

He says it in the New Testament.

Does he? Mm-hmm.

You didn't speak in Greek.

I know, but if you're going to say they don't have an, you know, Aleph to Zed or Zayin in, what's it called, in Greek, then they have that in Hebrew.

So if he's speaking Hebrew, they're going to pick the equivalent, which would be Alpha and Omega.
