We ring in 2026 by previewing a crucial showdown between the Seahawks and a polarizing 49ers team with the No. 1 spot in the NFC on the line, but only after toasting to the Seahawks’ Pro Bowlers…

will say, how about this? On the Pro Bowlers, first off, DeMarcus Lawrence...

Somebody who I think that we both were a little skeptical about the signing as it happened.

We, I mean, we talked about this on the year in review podcast, all of the moves that John Schneider made that ended up working.

Literally you could like trace back every single one of these players to being like, well, that was a great move by John Schneider.

Whether it's the Russell Wilson trade, whether it's the signing, et cetera, or drafting Jackson Smith and Jigba in the twenties, you know, even the Rashid Shahid trade though, mid season, which I don't think anybody was really criticizing the Rashid Shahid trade, but that was one where it's like, boom, right on top of this.

I do feel like it's one of those moments where you end up on such an all-time heater of decisions that you're going to trust every instinct you ever have.

But DeMarcus Lawrence working out is one that I am personally surprised by and excited about of how well that's gone this season for the Seahawks.

If you were to ask me preseason, if these players are going to be pro bowlers, I would have said there was a pretty good shot of it.

DeMarcus Lawrence, of all players, is the one that is the most surprising to me.

And I think it's awesome to have had a player like that have brought him in and had it worked out so well.
