Uh, we've got all this talk around gas prices, oil prices, um, which have actually been pretty muted, thankfully.
and some crazy stuff coming out of Washington, D.C., including, unfortunately, one instance last week from our president, Donald Trump, who I'm a big fan of and have been since 2015.

He talked about how the oil companies need to artificially lower gasoline prices and their price gouging customers on gasoline.
And I, knowing how that market works, my response was, well, I don't think that's quite right.

His importance of lowering the cost of energy has been pretty prevalent during this second administration of his.
He has a flurry of executive orders on day one directing the Department of Energy and the EPA and other agencies to lower the cost of energy.
And so then you've got this rocket and feather effect that I think you've written about that I've actually studied and used to prepare for radio hits that I have all over the country when the prices were shooting up really quick.
And I just think there needs to be some better messaging in the White House on this front.
