Yeah.

I mean, just, I don't know, seeing how much like Nolan and Katie, all of our buddies in Arizona and South Texas, how often they get to go do fun stuff.

Yeah.

I don't know.

I had Nolan reach out to me quite a while ago.

And I'm sure he's needing me to actually give him a hard answer at this point.

But I think they just need people in this part of Texas because, you know, South Texas is obviously covered.

Covered, yeah.

And hopefully we see over the next couple of days, his presence there really drag more people to the polls.

Well, and also Corpus Christi for South Texas.

I think these are two strategic.

And I'm not saying – I think if it jams into the schedule, the president may – I think it's packed every day but may even think about coming back.

I think it's within a 2% to 3% on either side.

And what's going to end up happening, and I think this is why the president is coming back here, is that you've got to make sure that you get the incredible turnout from East Texas and West Texas and South Texas.

Because what Tallarico is banking on is the major urban population centers.

We call it the I-35 corridor, which starts really from Denton, Texas, down to San Antonio, and the I-10 corridor from Houston, Harris County, over to San Antonio.

Some of them are trying to be honest.

They just can't get Republicans to sample.

Yeah, and again, when you are doing a sample polling here in the state of Texas, I'd like to know how much of that came within that I-35, I-10 corridor, as opposed to East Texas, West Texas, or even South Texas, the questions that are being asked.

And again, how many Republican households are being called into and how many responded? Those are the type of details that we need to know about this polling.

Corpus Christi and Lubbock.

Of course, Lubbock out there in the West Texas, Corpus Christi down in South Texas.

These are two areas we absolutely need to perform.

Over the last couple of years, we've traveled around the country talking with people who represent places that can feel very far away from Washington.

Timber County in southwest Washington, farm towns in California's Central Valley, Wine County, Wildfire County, rural Northern California, the Rio Grande Valley, and the Gulf Coast of South Texas.

Different economies, different histories, different politics— But spend enough time in those places and a pattern starts to emerge.

The members of Congress who last tend to know the small stuff.

They know what happens when the mill shuts down or the canal runs dry or the fire station can't staff enough trained workers.

And this fall, several Blue Dog incumbents are facing some of the most consequential races in the country.

Marie Glusenkamp-Perez in Southwest Washington, Adam Gray in California's Central Valley, Mike Thompson in Northern California, and Vicente Gonzalez in South Texas.

The four races look nothing alike.

Did she put books in your hands and get you reading?

You know, there was this, I don't remember what it was called, Steve, but we had this thing in public school when I was growing up in South Texas.

It was almost like a list of books that they would bring boxes of books in and you got to check off what books you wanted to buy.

And And even though we didn't have a lot of money, she would spend she would let me spend however much I wanted on books.
