TETC #224: Watching the Same Blackboard

[laughs] Um, do you wanna do some Microsoft hate? I have some Microsoft hate.

Absolutely.

I, I love that.

I haven't had much Microsoft hate since I stopped using Microsoft products.

Yeah, it's been built, building up.

Yeah.

Um, so, uh, my brother built his computer a couple of years ago at this point.

We, we talked about it-

Mm-hmm

... on the show, I think.

Yeah.

Fine machine.

Um, stability issues with the graphics driver.

The graphics card was dying when he would launch certain games.

It was just shutting off.

Oh, wow.

And so I said, "Well," I was looking at it, and it was just, it, the, like, the driver was just kill, uh, when he would launch this game.

Mm-hmm.

And sometimes when he would turn on the machine.

I said, "Okay." I said, "Let's, let's work on getting a driver that's not..." Because what he had was the Windows distributed version of the driver-

Uh-huh

... that you get from Windows update, not the one that's from-

Yeah

... not the one that's-

Like NVIDIA or AMD.
