So number one, and I know we would imagine like, okay, well, just tell me, give me the thing that I can go buy and that'll take care of the problem.

When we talk about this stuff, we have to pause and kind of realize that when it comes to spiritual first aid and solving what might be spiritual problems, like they might be psychological, they might be medical, it might just be a critter in the wall and you're misunderstanding it, but let's say there's a spiritual problem.

When it comes to solving spiritual problems, and mostly the lesser spiritual problems, And this applies to the serious ones too.

It's not about finding the person with the gift or the charism or finding the obscure prayer that somebody wrote that is going to magically, you know, like this and everything's going to be fixed.

Like external things, we're going to get to that, sacramentals and things like that.

Okay, so it's not about let me find the quick fix so I can go back to life as normal.

Maybe I've got, you know, a double life of sin that, you know, I rationalize away, that kind of thing.

Even in the short-term spiritual first aid perspective, it's still about us doing the work because we have to take some steps.

And why is this? Because spiritual problems are almost always a symptom of some area in our life where we're dropping the ball or where we need to grow in some way is another way to look at it.

There are situations where the person did nothing to cause it, and they don't need to feel at all guilty about it.

Like maybe they bought a house that had a pre-existing problem, and they have no contact whatsoever with ghost hunting or the occult or black magic.

And even if, by the way, it's a situation that you did nothing to contribute to, Still, it's always good to grow.

It's always good to grow spiritually in terms of our trust, our relationship with God, our relationship with Jesus specifically, the Trinity, the Father, the Son, Jesus, the Holy Spirit.
