Because it's an Android game, and they do something to strip away some kind of a code signing or something, and then they upload it as their own thing.

This happens a lot on the Amazon App Store for some reason.

This is that thing where the lower court of Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers ruled that Apple's anti-steering rules violated California's unfair competition law.

Forced to let developers steer and sell outside of its app store, Apple set a commission on those outside sales of 27%, barely lower than its in-app sales commission of 30%.

That, plus the other costs developers would incur, made the whole idea a financial wash. seeming to see it as malicious compliance, Judge Gonzalez-Rogers found Apple in contempt.

In its appeal, Apple Legal seems to be playing the innocent and the aggrieved.

According to the report, the original lawsuit was brought by XCorp and SpaceX AI last year and accused Apple of violating antitrust laws.

This was because the company integrated chat GPT tools and Apple intelligence, which locked up markets to maintain their monopolies and prevent innovators like X and XAI from competing.

They also claim that Apple was artificially suppressing some of their apps on the App Store, something they said Apple wouldn't have done if not for the company's partnership with chat GPT parent OpenAI.

Well, they're done with the Apple part, it seems.

Yeah, you know me.

It gives me App Store, then Apple Store, then the PlayStation app.

Yeah.

Apple Store, App Store.

Oh, other way around.

Interesting.

Exactly.

So let's explain how Instinct actually works mechanically because it is an app you download from the App Store,

right? Nope, not at all.

Instinct lives entirely in the cloud.

By insisting on processing data locally on the device to protect user privacy, Apple has inherently limited how smart and capable Siri can become compared to cloud-based alternatives.

Which basically opened the door for AI agents like Instinct and Metasmuse.

These tools bypass the app store entirely, living in the cloud and running virtual web browsers to act as highly capable personal concierges.

Yeah, they can read messy websites, book travel, and manage your calendar.

Even if the investing worked, the argument falls apart and the investing doesn't work anyway.

Well, just to dogpile on that, Apple, go through the app store sometime.

Dogpile on it, Jim, really?

Yeah.

I mean, in terms of a lot of the apps, you can get Apple, everything's, oh, Apple, they make phones, they have music, they do all these nice things.

But on the App Store, there are some horrible things that would never belong in some type of filter

that was trying

to filter out certain things, filter out things that were anti-Christian values.

We exclusively create native mobile apps for museums and cultural destinations.

A native mobile app is an app that is downloaded from the Google Play or the Apple App Store.

And then the user, the visitor does not need to be connected to Wi-Fi in order to access all of the content on that app.

So the app includes interactive location-aware maps, self-guided tours, audio tours.

When I mean the page, take you to the website, you log in, then you come back to the app.

But it's not a app that you can download on when you go to the app.com or, um, Apple's, um, Apple App Store.

You don't get to see that.

You can download it from their website and all that.
