It's been forever and I'm going to dive into a little bit of why it's been forever, but I am truly so grateful to be back on here with you.

Excited to fellowship today and to Here in today's podcast, my goal is to recap summer 2026.

There are six pillars that I really want to talk about here today to grow our mindsets, adventure, family, basketball, books, faith, and mindset.

And Really, the overarching theme of this podcast here today was this was a summer of going places to coach other people.

Had did a lot of travel with my family and realizing over and over that as I was coaching people, God was coaching me.

I just don't want to give you like the highlight reel of where we went, who I trained.

the camps we ran, the books I read, or the things that we accomplished here at CTA, but I want to talk about what this summer taught me.

We recently built a a six bed apartment here at Compete Training Academy to host our clients for retreat settings.

And we had a lot of family adventures and moments where we went somewhere believing that, you know, I was going in to coach somebody else, but really God ended up coaching me.

And so the theme here of the summer was simple to stay a student, steward the season you're in and be present for adventure because that's really where the magic happens and so i want to encourage you by just some of my takeaways here i'm going to go month by month and in the month of may summer really started off with camp better And when I think about that experience, I first think about Trey Kaufman Wren, who was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the journey that we've been on that we documented in our book, Get Better, where Trey came to me.
