Ash MillmanHostI don't know what your expectations were going into it, and I don't even really know your opinions on Evil Dead at large necessarily, which is interesting.
But I was going into Evil Dead Burn before I get into the plot synopsis with quite low expectations.
I saw a lot of people saying that it was a little disappointing story that it was too bleak, that it was too rote in places.
It has some issues here and there, but I was really impressed with, one, the level of violence in it is really impressive, and more importantly, well-executed IMO with a lot of practical effects and cool camera work.
I like me a gray horror film when it fits the tone and it just it fit the murkiness of this movie.
There are a few things that stand out that I don't necessarily love that we'll get into.
I knew your take beforehand for I looked up your review on letterboxd.com. Four stars, I saw.
