I just like to think it was a lot of support.

But, like, Rob Tapert, Sam Raimi, and Bruce Campbell, they are OGs going back to Within the Woods, the, which was Rob Tapert's first role as producer as Rob Tapert.

Um, he also, by the way, went on to produce Xena: Warrior Princess, 30 Days of Night, The Grudge 2004, Darkman, and Time Cop, et cetera, et cetera.

So he is fantastic.

Yeah.

But okay, like we said earlier, you are here today specifically to talk to me about Xena: The Warrior Princess, a television show that premiered in 1995, created by Rob Tapert and the Sam Raimi, and then I think later on, R.J., I wanna say Stewart, came on as-

... uh, executive...

[laughs]

... somewhat, because when there's a bit of an angry horde at you these days, it can be hard to, like, figure out the correct thing to say.

But, like, the way that Rob Tapert and just, like, everyone associated with that show managed to thread that needle has been, I think, really remarkable, and I think is something that more people should look at-

Yeah

But, you know, I've been so fortunate that people from Xena who I've stayed connected to have been helpful as mentors.

Rob Tappert, you know, helped me look for an editor.

I don't know if you know that.

Yeah, yeah.

Right.

So then we were like, "Can we actually do it? Can we go to the next level?" Like, can we, can you make a feature film? And the third guy of the wheel, Rob Tapert, who became the producer, the main producer, was a troubled teenager.

He got into trouble all the time, and so he had a family lawyer.

Mm-hmm [laughs].

...in a kind of uncredited voice cameo... ...doing all of the PA announcements that you hear in the movie.

And, of course, she is married to Rob Tappert... ...who is Sam Raimi's business partner.

And that's just a cool little sort of trivial thing.

So whenever you hear a PA announcement in Ginger Snaps... ...it's actually Lucy Lawless of Xena fame doing it.
