Get Out

There aren't consequences for rich people.

And I think a great example of, of this would be to show that there is a physical manifestation of not being able to get out of it, and even the thing that makes you, uh, an entity of, of salvation, of hope, this image of like, like the Alex Ross painting of Angel of like, uh, holding a baby and like saving someone.

There's still people that are gonna fear that.

And I, and I think it'll be really interesting.

From watching an interview with Brandon Davis, I am aware that James Gunn is aware that when they shoot on location-

The story is, there's a titular town, Hope, and it's a rural border town which is suddenly attacked by mysterious extraterrestrial monsters.

Yeah, that's pretty good.

Well, it's a, it's twist on Get, Get Out kinda started it, I think in many ways.

Uh- Th- th- that to me was, a- as soon as Jordan Peele came up with that idea, uh, i- it's like that wrote itself, really.

What, what if there was [laughs] a world where every Black person's worst fear about white people actually came true? That was brilliant.

They could do no wrong.

They really couldn't at this time.

They needed, they knew once Bobby left and started getting more mature, they had to get out of fucking Candy Girl.

Right, right, right.

So now my, all my friends are these Trinity guys and like, we call each other brother.

And now I'm like financially tied to some of them and we started business together and then I can't get out.

And I'm like looking at my family.

I'm like, how do I pay my bills? At any point you can still get out, but it gets harder and harder and harder.

So right now, Get Out, that movie Get Out isn't just about the blacks.

It's about the lie.

It's about the manipulation.

And I'm not the smallest guy in the world.

And we also record at different times, which is always a good thing.

But yes, we are talking about Get Out from 2017.

Have you heard of it? I mean, it was kind of like one of the biggest movies of that year.

And still kind of is.

manager hadn't heard of it when I was finishing at work today.

He was like, what are you watching? Well, I'm sure he's maybe heard of it.

He was like, what are you watching? I was like, Get Out? Yeah.

it's just i always i always think about i always think because i took a i took a intro to film class in college and ever since i've seen get out i'm like you know there's an all-white class and a white professor dissecting that movie and it comp it's completely escaping everyone in that room what's going on in that room as they're as they're talking about that movie

i went to film school as you may know You might have actually been in film school during this.

So you might have.

I there was maybe even two occasions, but there was at least one occasion where because in one of the classes, we'd watch a movie at the end of every lecture.

Like relating to the topic.

And one of them was, in fact, get out.

And the teacher was, in fact, a white guy.

The sound, yeah, I was in a bad theater, I think, for it.

Yeah, Michael Ables from Jordan Peele, fame, Get Out, Us is where he started his career.

He also has Behemoth.

I hit the score for Behemoth coming out this year, which I've been predicting.
