not sure how often they've actually done it because i know um this right yeah complaining about the lack of like an obsession house or um what's the other thing i keep forgetting back rooms apparently is a very popular um universal property that they're like why don't you have houses for these like why do you have um uh what is it the uh evil dead burn instead which also is a movie that came out this year but i think yeah but i don't think it did as well

And they probably thought that was going to be a better house than the other ones.

So as Kelly mentioned, she was hanging out over with the Death Eaters as Kevin and I went on to our last two houses of the night.

And that was past the Hogwarts building.

In a little back area, and we went to Evil Dead Burn, and we went to Hellraiser.

So, Kelly, I'm very glad that you didn't go with us to this, because it is quite the trek to get down there.

evil dead burn I have not seen I didn't get it and there was nothing throughout the entire haunt that explained it to me so I was just reliving scenes from a movie I haven't seen and And it what it didn't get me the way Hellraiser did, because I kind of get it going through.

So there is that that middle ground of like, yes, you should have a little bit of a reference.

But if it's relying so wholeheartedly on, hey, remember that thing from the movie? There it is.

And then Dead, Dead, or Deadest.

Those are your original ones for the ones in California.

And then on the East Coast, you've got Stranger Things, Sinners, Hellraiser, Ozzie, and Evil Dead Burn, just like on the West Coast.

But then here are the originals.

But I just watched Evil Dead Burn yesterday and I was highly disappointed.

Oh, that's a bummer.

I did not.

The Evil Dead remake from 2013 is one of my favorite horror films.

I think it's one of the best remakes that's ever been made.

So I did not like Evil Dead Burn.

It's such a bummer when you can see them doing great things with a franchise, especially when you're like, let's hope they do this well.

And we are going to move on to our Crit of the Week.

We have talked about this man on the show before because he did Evil Dead Burn.

we do think that it fits our Graveyard Gems theme because...

feels like an experienced... filmmaker and

Because it's got that same kind of tone, I would say.

So there's a lot of different horror tropes that we're leaning into here.

On the road of life, there are old friends, new friends, and stories that change you in Joy Story 5 that really didn't change me compared to the rest but still a decent entry.

receiving three stars hollywood has a monster problem along with a minion problem that is the weakest of the franchise and minions and monsters that receive two stars before he led a revolution he survived one in young washington that deserved a better revelation than revolution that received two stars it will be fun and surely it was and one of the best pictures of the year in the invite that received three and a half stars Every family has their demons in Evil Dead Burn that surpasses the last one with memorable characters that the movie actually utilizes to receive three stars.

But don't ever use CGI in an Evil Dead movie again.
