The Nude Sports Games That Shocked Malaysia and Singapore

Yeah.

So, in May 2014, a group of 15 people, mix of Singaporeans, Malaysians, some Burmese, Filipinos, they participated in this event, uh, held at the Penang National Park at Teluk Kampi Beach.

Mm.

So a very secluded beach.

And, and so they were not all from Singapore or from Malaysia.

Yeah.

Like, the, the people literally came from, like-

Yeah, overseas

... overseas.

It was a mixture of, uh, Southeast Asian, I would say-

Ah

... yeah, races.

So, yeah, allegedly, they, they applied, you know, to do this, uh, activity, but they, they labeled it a nature conservation activity, lah-

[laughs]

... to the authorities.

So the state government had no issue... uh, no idea that this was happening.

And yeah, it was a, a very secluded beach, lah.

Yeah.

Um, and, uh, there was actually a video shot by one of the participants that actually was uploaded to a naturist forum, like right after the event, uh, not long-

Ah

... after the forum, uh, uh, not long after the event in 2014.

Uh, and it just sat quietly on that forum for a couple of months, right?

Yeah.

Um, you know, and then things started to cascade from there and happened from there.

But before we jump into what was in that video and, and what was interesting about it, uh, let, let's talk a bit about nudity, lah.

Yeah.
