[whooshing] DAP advisor Lim Guan Eng has described Malaysia's homegrown navigation app, Tuju, as a national embarrassment amid public complaints about its performance.

In a statement, Lim suggested that Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim had been wrongly advised about the app, developed by ProSignal Consortium Sendirian Berhad in collaboration with the Malaysian Highway Authority.

He said Malaysians supported replacing Waze due to concerns over data security, given that the app is subject to Israeli laws.

Subang UMNO division chief Arman Azha Abu Hanifa has hit out at DAP's Jelutong MP RSN Rayyer over his recent call in Parliament for UMNO president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's corruption charges to be revived.

Arman questioned why Rayyer was not equally vocal about the Penang Undersea Tunnel Project over which DAP National Advisor Lim Guan Eng is facing corruption charges.

He said they shouldn't be outspoken only when UMNO leaders are involved but remain silent when the same issues need to be assessed according to the same principles and standards.

According to UMNO Online, he said justice and the rule of law must apply to everyone, regardless of political party.
