Here in Israel, I return to one big story, which was the attempt of a terrorist attack on a fly Dubai flight.

It was not an attempt, it actually occurred, but the people were all saved due to both a pilot who was able to think in his last moments of consciousness and open the door, and a group of Israelis who took control of the plane effectively.

until a group of additional pilots, deadhead pilots, were on the plane, were able to take control of the plane and bring it safely to land.

The discussion here is that it was within 30 seconds of a crash on the desert of Saudi Arabia.

The crash, or the lack of the crash, I should say, and the whole incident have caused many different repercussions and discussions.

Of course, there's the repercussion for the people involved who had a terrible experience.

There's a repercussion for the people who have been stranded in Dubai because all fly Dubai flights have been canceled until October 15th.

Will El Al decide that it can fly on Shabbat because it's B'kuach Nefesh to get to people? Somehow I doubt it, but we'll see.
