And here you can see a picture from Dubai where you have a desalination plant that takes up almost half a kilometer of beach area.

And unfortunately, as has been part of the news picture, you know, they're pretty sensitive infrastructure parts as well when when geopolitics are becoming challenging.

So we really need to to find other ways of creating fresh water from the oceans, which are also less energy intensive and less polluting to the oceans.
