For those who are interested in behind-the-scenes minutia- Mm-hmm ... we were supposed to talk way back.
I think it was [laughs] at the beginning of the pandemic we were- Yes ... we were talking, and we wanted to have this conversation about the Sykesville Monster.
And in fact, I, I was gonna come to Sykesville, and you were gonna show me around a bit.
And then the pandemic happened, and then- Then the pandemic happened [laughs] ... everything with it and, and my, uh, MS issues with the... followed that, so forth.
So, uh- Yes ... w- we weren't unable to get together, but we're gonna make up for that tonight.
My wife and I had moved from Pennsylvania to, um, this little town in Maryland called Sykesville, and we went, uh, one day to, um, one of the old, uh, Catholic churches there, St. Joseph.
It's amazing." And then once we had moved, we found out that like Sykesville had this incredible history of, you know, um, not just paranormal, like Bigfoot stuff.
There was a huge, of course, uh, sighting of the Sykesville Monster back in the mid-'70s, uh, which continued a flap of Bigfoot sightings all the way up through the '90s.
Um, quite a few town residents have told me personal stories about things they or a relative had seen well into the '90s, like 1997, 1998.
