Now, uh, print on demand has a bad rap in the AI community because so many people tried it.

They started an Etsy shop, you know, with custom T-shirts, and it didn't work out.

Well, while that may be true, there's a strategy that I believe will work moving forward this year.

Being in an election year, um, there's always things happening in pop culture, and so today I'm gonna talk about a strategy that you could use to potentially make lots of money, um, doing a AI print-on-demand business.

So, um, you're gonna have to run some Facebook ads to get people to actually see this.

Otherwise, your, uh, your store is never gonna get seen.

So you, by the time you actually gain some algorithmic traction with your website or your Etsy shop or your print-on-demand site, it's gon- the time, the moment is gonna be passed.

So, you know, the Lions are gonna get lose and not be in the Super Bowl, or the election's already gonna happen.

buy Robin's jeans? How

are they going to buy Robin's haunted dolls? This woman buys thousands and thousands of dollars worth of dolls on Etsy.

Yeah, what's he going to do for income? And they love David Yerman jewelry.

They're always buying it.

And that's dabbled in all sorts of things, creating wedding stationery, creating greeting cards.

I set up a little business with my mum for a bit where I created children's clothes with her and made accessories, sold on the high street, Etsy, all of those things.

And having kids and I find I'm a natural and I don't know if lots of other creatives find this as well, but I naturally like sharing my skills.

I naturally like teaching other people my skills and, And I eventually ended up training to be a teacher.

I came back to the textile side of stuff.

And that's where, again, it happened to also coincide with lockdown.

I had this idea about what about if, you know, trying to I've done this whole selling products on Etsy and going to craft fairs and all of that.

And it's really, really hard.

It might be helpful to have your book and some paper handy for this episode.

I've never

used Etsy's or eBay's because I know that I would regret it.

I have a couple.

Well, I mean, that could be a whole rant against Etsy, like the shitification of Etsy.

Yes.

eBay's one.

Etsy's one.

There's so many great distribution channels today.

Oh,

yeah, I get that.

In a very similar vein, I was just reading a story, I think it was yesterday, where a woman who's been selling jewelry on Etsy for like six, seven years, somebody got fake AI photos of her product that she had been making and put it up.

And her shop is the one that got banned for going for like, oh, you're selling the same item.

She's like, It's my item.

And then we'll have an interaction with a small company.

Maybe you're ordering jewelries from someone off Etsy who's put her whole life into this or someone that has built a ranch or whatever.

And they're doing all the marketing and all the business and all the packing themselves.

They need your grace.
