Finally!!! Real Games This Week!

Number one, I understand the NFL wants to expand its fan base, that it wants to bring in more money, and the only way you can do that is to get the larger fan base.

What I am not truly understanding is the lengths to which they are having these teams travel.

I mean, the 49ers and Rams are going to be playing in Australia on Thursday, Friday for them at that point.

Fun as that is.

To which Kyle Shanahan, when the schedule came out, had complained about this.

He is towing the company in a line now, for sure.

Speaking of it as an opportunity, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Bullshit.

No one wants to travel that far.

And it's the first game of their season.

It's the first week of the regular season of the NFL.

I get it, because if you're going to make a team fly this far, they better have one hell of a fucking chance to recover.

And you do not want them having played a game a couple days before.

It's a long trip.

They're flying a long fucking way.

I don't think they should be doing it, personally.

I think as much as the NFL wants to expand, there are some places that's just a little too far to travel.

Australia, it's nothing against you.

I'd love to come visit Australia sometime, but I don't see the purpose of having a regular season football game there in the NFL.

You can do a lot of different outreach things to try to increase kids' interest in the sport.

You can have players go over in the offseason and teach them the basics of the sport.

There's all kinds of things you can do.

There is no reason to waste one of these teams' home games in Australia.

I just...

I realize at some point there will be a team in Europe.
