Listen, I wanna get Ally's take on this first, because Ally is an unabashed SEC homer, and I feel like part of her wants to disagree with this.

But the other part, Ally, that I'll bring to your attention, I think Florida is inappropriately, I think they're ranked too low because of exactly what he's talking about.

There is maybe one team in this country that has been more impressive than Florida through four weeks, and it would be Texas, and I'd even call into question some of that with how they looked at Knoxville, which was a great time, by the way, and everybody should take that trip if you haven't already.

But because of their preseason ranking, because of what we assumed that they were coming off of a four and eight season, they're not getting the respect that they deserve.

And f- maybe from a team perspective or maybe if you're John Summerall, you, you're fine with that.

Yeah, go out and prove it, and they'll have plenty of opportunities to go and do that.

But I, I think he's got some good points in the fact that preseason rankings give us these opinions of teams that a lot of times these writers won't move off of.

And I think that is, again, how much does it matter in the grand scheme when we get to December? It doesn't.

And because they were four and eight last year and we all assumed they would be a six or seven win team, that's why they're having to fight their way up, whereas other teams in the country get that benefit of the doubt.

Indiana barely beat Northwestern on Friday, and we still have them propped up because they won the national title.

I think that's probably the, the middle ground that you could get to with his comments.

Um, okay, so if you have watched me on my other channel for all of these years, you will know that I despise preseason polls.

I loved where the BCS would come out the very end of October or first week of November.

I think you have a big enough body of work at that point that you could start to put piece together ... rankings then.
