Box score

[upbeat music] What's up? Welcome to Beyond the Box Score.

I'm Jacob Gibbs, and we are doing rest-of-season rankings today.

So if you're watching on YouTube, you will see my rest-of-season rankings at the running back position up on the screen.

Gonna go through these names, gonna go through every single team, every single backfield, with an assist from the Fantasy Points data suite, and look at their expected fantasy point model, which is based off where each touch is occurring, um, where each touch is coming on the football field each week.

Gonna look at the week four data, see how things split out for every backfield, and, uh, just take you through team by team, give you an update.

Uh, we do this every week here on Beyond the Box Score.

So thank you for being here, whether this is your first time or your hundredth time.

I appreciate you being here.

[funky music] Welcome back.

It's Beyond the Box Score.

I'm Dan Schneier, that's Jacob Gibbs, and we are excited today to get back into some fantasy football action previewing week five, going over a little waiver wire film review and film stuff takeaways that we've had from watching the tape.

Risers and fallers.

I, yeah, I don't know if we're gonna figure out anything about the Chargers offense.

We're not going anywhere good in that direction anytime soon.

We're happy to have you here, especially on Beyond the Box Score.

You've been with us all off-season, you've been with us early season.

Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.

[upbeat music] Coming up on Beyond the Box Score, Drake May's big game.

Is he back? How good is Tedarrell McMillan? Can we trust Bryce Young rest of season? Is Emmanuel Wilson going to be a, a staple of this offense going forward? Ali Gordon, is he going to be a staple of this offense going forward? Keon Coleman, is he going to be a staple if DJ Moore is out in week five? We'll talk about those guys.

We'll recap last night's game.

Good.

That Flowers stat is crazy.

I'm putting together a Beyond the Box Score episode looking at the biggest busts in fantasy.

Ooh.

[funky music] Welcome back.

It's Beyond the Box Score.

I'm Dan Schneier, that's Jacob Gibbs, and it's Thursday.

That means it's the people show.

Um, for, yeah, for anybody who didn't catch what Dan was talking about, we got this note from CBS.

Pretty cool.

Says downloads are up 42% for Beyond the Box Score, which, you know, sounds impressive, but little do they know that's just because our show production is up by 150%.

We're just [laughs] producing 25 shows per week.

[funky music] What's up? Welcome to Beyond the Box Score.

I'm Jacob Gibbs, and I'm taking you through my rest of season rankings at wide receiver today.

You can see them up on the screen if you're watching on YouTube as I scroll down here.

Uh, nothing has changed in the top six, but you'll see some green arrows, some red arrows as I scroll down.

These are players who have moved up or down following week three.

So I do this exercise every week here on Beyond the Box Score.

Uh, please consider subscribing if you have not.

Putting out lots of great content for y'all here.

It's been a very odd fantasy season, I think due to all the injuries.

And I went over this with Azer on yesterday's Beyond the Box Score, Jacob.

When I look, every week I do a run through of basically the week on Sunday night and I write an article with s- a little bit of s- like a risers, fallers, panic meter type feel, early waivers.

And I was looking through the top performers from this week and it was just so stunning to me the names I saw up top.

I don't even need to look at the show sheet to know he's coming up first.

Going Josh Downs.

Um, I feel like Keenan Allen, it was very interesting this past week where the, the-- I, I looked at the box score around halftime or something, and I was like, "What? There's, like, three players who have targets?" It's, like, very concentrated.

I think, uh, Jonathan Taylor had some too, but it's basically just Josh Downs, Keenan Allen, Tyler Warren.

Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.

[rock music] We are taking you beyond the box score here on Fantasy Football Today.

Welcome.

It is Monday, September 28th, and this was one of the most, like, head-spinning weeks that we're gonna have all year, I think, Dan.

A few other things I thought were interesting about week three.

Drake London, really good news for Drake London.

Throughout the first two weeks, Jacob and I discussed this a bunch on Beyond the Box Score, Adam.

It was like, uh-oh, he lost his coaching staff, he lost Zach Robinson.
