Episode 592: Don't Think for Me

Well, you know, I was catching up on last previous episodes.

I think, now, Brandon, have you shut down Claude and you've moved to Muse? How's that progressing? Oh, he's a dots man, I'm sure.

Are you a Muse boy?

I'm not.

You know, I gave a quick review the other day with Matt.

I was like, I like some of the ideas in Muse, right? But even I, I know Matt would never do it.

Even I am like skeptical of hooking Muse up to everything, which seems like that's where you get the value.

You've got to hook it up to your email, your bank, your calendar to get like the full, you know, and I'm just like, I, it just feels like, you know, it's like, it's one of these things you come in.

I, we've been here before Facebook.

It's like, I don't know.

I just, I know like people like Ben Thompson and other people will say like, people don't care about that and blah, blah, blah.

And it's like, that may be true for the wide audience of people, but I'm like, I'm a little skeptical of all of that.

So, I have not opened up.

Therefore, I feel like Muse is just really like a free LLM, you know, that has a weird, not a weird, that has like a, I don't know, a fat Teletubby mascot that like, you know, it's kind of fun to watch.

Like people like it, but I don't use it.

Like the thing I've seen people talking about is they hooked it up to their bank account and their credit card accounts and email and then they cancel like, I canceled $1,000 worth of subscriptions because, you know, they found all this stuff.

And so, not doubting that happened, but I'm like, it's a level of, access that I've been unwilling to give.

So without that, I've been kind of unimpressed.

I'm like, well, this is just kind of another...

And that would be totally fair to come back, well, you're not doing it right.

And I'd be like, well, that's fair.

That's a fair comment.

But it hasn't really done much for me that I feel like is nil.

Matt, I'm sure you've been using Muse.
