But like you can't really get what you want in terms of like a vision unless you deal with your shit.

In other news in California, the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles and the heirs to a Jewish artist filed suit against a Pasadena museum to recover a pair of 16th century oil paintings seized by the Nazis and held in the private collection of Hermann Goering.

The lawsuit was filed at the end of the filing window under a 2024 California law permitting claimants to previously dismissed lawsuits to refile for the retrieval of looted artworks.

The law permits claimants to recover personal property stolen as the result of political persecution when earlier lawsuits were dismissed on procedural grounds.

The Jewish Federation is suing the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena, that's the L.A. Federation, for the retrieval of a life-sized oil diptych of Adam and Eve by the German painter Lukas Kronach the Elder.

In 1940, the Nazis seized the pair of paintings from their Jewish owner, the art dealer Jacques Gudsticker.

The art wound up in the hands of Hermann Goering, the Nazi Air Force commander and convicted war criminal, along with 800 other pieces from Goodsticker's collection.

I believe on October 10th, I'm doing a bunch of events at the Herd Museum in Phoenix, Arizona.

The 12th, I'll be back in Los Angeles at a bookstore called Vromans in Pasadena with Ali Beardsley, who's a super funny comedian that does a lot of stuff in the Dropout universe.

And then next week I'm doing like the 10, 15, I'm guesting on this really cool NPR radio show called Livewire in Portland.

And then doing an event at Literary Arts on 10, 16, where the all native punk band 1876 is going to open for me in this bookstore.

It's eerie.

And he's a big advocate for the Altadena and Pasadena area in terms of the rebuilding.
