So we had some really sad news tonight as well, and I wanted to mention this because I think this show meant so much to, uh, a certain demographic, like it did to me, and that show was Saved by the Bell.

And we had news tonight that Principal Richard Belding, or Dennis Haskins, the actor who portrayed Principal Richard Belding on Saved by the Bell, has passed away at the age of 75.

Everyone loved Mr. Belding, and those of us who got to know Dennis loved him even more.

I will miss him terribly." Um, now, Saved by the Bell started in the late '80s and went into the '90s, had multiple iterations.

I once ran into him at, uh, Runyon Canyon hiking, and I tripped, and he, like, he kinda, like, reached out his arm to me, and I rem- and I remember going, "Oh, thanks," and looking up, and it was Principal Belding.

And I was like, "Whoa!" And, uh, I think I had that shocked reaction, which, uh, I think he chuckled at because so many people probably had a similar reaction bumping into him.

Um, we had so many just fond memories of that show and of all of the people on that show.

Now, the actress who played Lisa Turtle, uh, Lark Voorhies, wrote this on her Instagram tonight: "Knowing De- Dennis Haskins for almost 40 years has been one of the truest blessings of my life, which makes losing him hurt so deeply.

We shared so much history together from our earliest days, and through it all he remained a fabulous person, a loyal friend, and someone with such a kind, gentle heart.

I am truly heartbroken by his passing and will miss his warmth and laughter more than words can say.

You will always hold a special place in my heart." Which I thought was a beautiful memorial of him by, uh, by Lisa Turtle.
