J.P. Miller was not at the park.

His vehicle was confirmed on Highway 17 in Horry County, South Carolina at 2:22 that afternoon, 32 minutes before the 911 call.

He's not charged with causing Micah's death.

He's charged with cyberstalking her for 18 months before it.

In early '25, the Myrtle Beach Police Department reopened the investigation, citing new information emerging from the investigation into Micah Miller's death.

Two months later, police closed it again.

The Horry County Coroner's investigation, that one remains open.

JP delivered the message at Chris Skinner's funeral.

Then right before 1:00 PM, Georgetown County officials notified the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, which then they offered its dive team to start looking more in the bodies of water, because at that point they were only by boat, on foot, and they needed people going fully submerged in water.

A few hours passed, and at 2:50 PM, the Horry County dive team told Georgetown County officials that they were heading to the rental property.

At 3:10 PM, a helicopter that was equipped with the Project Lifesaver technology arrived from the Charleston County Sheriff's Office so that they could scan the area.

Georgetown County had also requested that the helicopter come after its own equipment apparently failed to detect Saylor's frequency.

So they weren't sure if they needed to troubleshoot their equipment, what was going on.

They knew, though, that they didn't wanna lose any more time, so they called in the Charleston County Sheriff's Office with their helicopter to help assist in tracking her, uh, Project Lifesaver alert band.

Then around 3:20 PM, the Horry County divers arrived, and they began searching the area near the docks, um, around the river, and by 4:15, they had searched roughly 200 yards near the rental home.

Fast-forward about, hmm- About an hour and a half, and at 5:47 PM, the Charleston County helicopter returned home, unfortunately, after failing to detect Saylor's frequency.

Um, and they came together.

Uh, uh, you weren't here at the time, like you said, but Horry County was devastated after Hurricane Matthew.

Uh, they had historical flooding, people displaced from their homes for months, uh, months on end.

Um, and they came together as a collective to get clothes, get, uh, just...

Okay, let's pick up right where we left off in part one of episode 164, shall we? As we told you in part one, on Tuesday, Scott Spivey's family filed a case in federal court against 13 current and former Horry County police officers, including former Chief Joseph Hill, former deputy chief and friend of Scott Spivey's killer, Weldon Boyd, whose name is Brandon Strickland, and former buffoon officer Damon "Act like a victim" Vescovi.

The lawsuit accuses the officers and county of violating the Spivey family civil rights.

There are three main accusations in the complaint.

One, that Horry County Police conspired to direct the investigation into Scott's September 9th 2023 killing in a direction that would favor Scott's killers, Weldon Boyd and Bradley Williams.

Two, that Scott's parents, as his legal heirs, were deprived of meaningful access to civil judicial redress, and their protected property interest.

In other words, Scott's estate, which is currently suing Weldon Boyd and Bradley Williams.

And three, that former Chief Hill has supervisor liability in this case, and Horry County has managerial liability.

According to the county medical examiner, Micah died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

And today we did obtain documents from the Horry County Probate Court through a Freedom of Information Act request, and they show that Micah's younger sister applied to be the special administrator of her estate rather than her husband.

The affidavits from Micah's brother and sister outline their concerns regarding her death and estate in the days following her death.

Also in the court documents, Sierra said Micah told her that John Paul was moving assets from his name, like his car and their house, to the church.

Now, online records for Horry County show that their home was transferred from John Paul to Solid Rock Ministries last December.

We have reached out to John Paul's attorney for comment, and we're still waiting to hear back.
