Did you know that in Queensland it's still constitutional law that every pub must have a railing outside in order that patrons can tie up their horse? Still on the law book.
And it's not obsolete today.
It's still on there.
Now, it would be quite silly for anyone to enforce that law.
Now, let's move from Australia to America, and in America, anything goes, really, doesn't it? Listen to this one.
How are you going to measure that? The odor.
So how do you go and you get whales? North Dakota, still technically legal to shoot an Indian horseback, provided you're in a covered wagon, okay? Michigan, these are laws still in the law books.

In fact, they should have been done away when they enacted, I think, some of those.

And people need to walk according to the law of the day, of course.
