Some breaking news just in from Queensland.

A man has died after a crash at Sunshine Beach in the Noosa region.

Emergency crews were called to the single vehicle crash involving a Mercedes-Benz at Bicentennial Drive at 2am today.

One man, a 53-year-old from Sunshine Beach, was assessed for critical injuries and tragically died at the scene.

A 51-year-old man, also from Sunshine Beach, was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

Investigations there are continuing.
