This is going to be part two of last week's episode, which was on credit card optimization.

Last week, we talked through the mechanics of your credit score, your credit report.

I'll make the case why there is so much value in military members in particular, using this strategy.

I will continue to foot stomp on how powerful this tool is and how damaging it can be if you don't use it correctly, and I will make continuous references to that and how it could go wrong.

I'm going to talk about what I use in my wallet personally, the cards that I have.

I'm talking about my drawdown strategy now that I'm out of the military and have to start thinking about credit card fees because that is the big part of why it's so valuable while you're active duty and why you need to think pretty strongly about it after you get out.

And then I'm going to give some personal stories about how we funded our Maui Honeymoon, for instance, entirely on credit card rewards.

And then some of the trips that we've done, how we stayed at the St. Regis and Deer Valley for free, how we stayed at the Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel up in the Laguna Beach area.

And we, in our annual Hotel Del Coronado, which is kind of the landmark hotel here, we stay there once or twice a year, also for free, even though it's just in town, a little staycation.

um and so i will talk through how we do that and then any other tips or tricks i've learned along the way and then uh of course gonna wrap it up with pitfall to make sure to hammer home again responsible youth so that's a little game plan for today this is gonna be a solo episode i was just texting with brian before i hit record here and asked if he wanted to hop on uh This is something that he is not interested in at all.

And it's not like coupon flipping where you spend a ton of time to save five cents.

I'd say easily I could Without question, I could trace it back to when I started doing this strategy and find conservatively $20,000 of value just without any increased spending at all, without paying any interest to the credit card companies, but probably more like $30,000 over the course of the
