And then September so far in the last week and a half has been effectively the market finding out that a lot of the worries were not merited.

Again, not merited in the sense of what is the central bank going to do in the short term? obviously long-term, the implications and the Fed, all those things.

That kind of change there is we got to remember good news for jobs potentially means bad news for stocks because good news for jobs and the Fed's two mandates, employment and price stability, well, inflation is continuing to climb.

If employment is looking solid, remember that there's two different competing things that we identified even a week ago as far as the Fed being pulled in two different directions.

One direction says the labor market is weak, which means that people aren't hiring, people aren't investing, and so they need to lower rates by their playbook in order to stimulate lending and therefore stimulate growth.

And the playbook for inflation rising says you increase rates so that you restrict lending so that people aren't borrowing as much.

And that's obvious because the market, the long end of the market, remember, those are those bonds, 20, 30 year bonds where people are saying, hey, we're calling your bluff.
