Funny enough, Blacks and Latinos are over-represented when it comes to fighting, to serving in the armed forces, but they are underrepresented when it comes to being senior officers, generals, and admirals.

This administration has intervened in Navy and Army promotions, taken Black n- officers and women off lists for promotion.

They have, uh, also they, they forced the firing of a one-star admiral, African American.

We have seen it over and over again.

They have removed the names of Navy ships that were to bear the name of John Lewis, of Doris Miller, two renowned African Americans.

But you don't think that's racist enough? Well, why don't we talk about what's happening with the Haitians? 350,000 Haitians are ha- seeing the reversal of their protected status.

After decades of living in this country, of living lives here, of building businesses, of buying homes, of building families, of establishing a life in this country, their status is being removed.

Civil rights are talking and accusing this administration of applying different standards to Black and white immigrants, but it's, it's immigrants.

So I think these things have changed the dynamic and the calculus because we are reliant on the Navy.

The whole thing that I learned when I was in the Naval Service is you don't just learn whatever your rating is.

You learn the whole purpose of what we're doing keeping sea lanes open, commerce, the whole thing.

Everybody's relying on us.

We're the only blue water Navy that can do that.

And now it's been demonstrated it can't happen.

You have basically Bedouins, one step up from Bedouins in Yemen, and they have forced projection into Saudi Arabia, even to Israel.

Like you pretty much like a made man inside of a, when you get, it's like that little like brother that has a tag along forever that eventually kind of comes cool and he could hang with the boys.

That's like a Navy corpsman.
