North Carolina Has Over 6 CPCs for Every Abortion Clinic
T

Because anti-abortionists want us to think that it's about...
T
30:38Tara RomanoGUEST
Oh, it's just about abortion and restrictions and women's safety, but it really is about criminalizing... pregnancy for people criminalizing pregnancy outcomes so it doesn't stop at abortion it stopped you know it becomes like you have a pregnancy outcome somebody didn't like they want to blame you for it that there's lots of ways that they can start to criminalize pregnant people for these outcomes or the choices they make and as they get more restrictive because really you see an end goal for people some real extreme people in the anti-abortion movement is to really police people during their pregnancy and what would it mean for these centers to be part of that So we just think, I think, thinking about the surveillance and also, like, I mean, one thing that we're really, it's the money they're getting, right? There's more state money and now federal money, right? They talk about, like, the Title X money, which is the money for family planning, now being diverted to these places that don't do family planning, right? And so, I mean, I think, and, like, really growing them to be, like, there's such a site of misinformation and disinformation everywhere.
T

And really right wing propaganda and having those that you can just put up in some rural town.
T

Right.
