Week 3 of the college football season is in the books, and we’re breaking down everything from another wild Saturday. We recap the biggest games, surprising results, standout performances, and what we…
I'll mention the ACC first.
Got Louisville and SMU.
That was a ranked matchup.
SMU was 2-0.
Louisville obviously had taken a loss to Ole Miss in that week one matchup, but Louisville pulls it out 41-31.
I like Louisville, man.
I really like what they have going on.
I think they're a pretty good squad.
I like the quarterback.
He didn't necessarily light it up.
Both those teams kind of ran the ball pretty well.
I don't know the number off the top of my head, but just watching, there was so many explosive plays in that game.
Yeah.
Yeah, you look at it.
Louisville had 37 carries, 265 yards, averaging 7.24 tuds on the ground.
And even SMU, 45 carries, 257, 5.7 average, three rushing touchdowns.
You know, I didn't really get to watch a whole bunch of this game.
But just box score, looking at it, You know, Louisville QB Keen Holtz or whatever, he didn't light up the scoreboard, but he was two tuds, no picks.
It'll be SMU's downfall.
It kind of seems
like them turnovers might have hurt him.
He's extremely
boom or bust, like big player turnover.
yeah so that's obviously a interesting one then he also lost kevin jennings i also want to point out he did lose a fumble so he had three turnovers in the game and they lose by 10 smu got to be kicking themselves over that one uh big 10 uh
