Ty HildenbrandtHOST
22:35
I don't want to oversimplify it here because this is a game between two solid sides.
Ty HildenbrandtHOST
22:41
I think it comes down to Jaden Ball.
Ty HildenbrandtHOST
22:43
I really do.
Ty HildenbrandtHOST
22:44
Sure.
Ty HildenbrandtHOST
22:45
Georgia's coming off probably its worst tackling performance of the season two weeks ago in that Auburn game.
Ty HildenbrandtHOST
22:53
And if it comes to the point in this one where Jaden ball is out there and breaking tackles and getting hard yards after contact and that sort of thing, that makes it easier for Florida to shorten the game, to make it less about their own quarterback play, which is in flux.
Ty HildenbrandtHOST
23:07
And I can speak to in a second.
Ty HildenbrandtHOST
23:11
Now there's a conversation about how this game unfolds.
Drew ButlerHOST
18:09
So their success, I think, starts and ends with stopping Jaden Ball.
Drew ButlerHOST
18:14
I listened to Matt Berry from SEC Nation this morning on Atlanta Radio.
Drew ButlerHOST
18:18
He said, hey, Jaden Ball, when he's going, He's the best running back in the country.
Drew ButlerHOST
18:23
That's what Matt Berry said.
Drew ButlerHOST
18:24
We all know how good Jaden Ball is.
Drew ButlerHOST
18:26
What does Kirby Smart think of Florida starting running back Jaden Ball?
Kirby SmartSOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
18:29
I mean, we've shown our guys clips of him since the start of the year to kind of say, are you practicing to tackle him or are you practicing to tackle who you're playing against?
speaker_4UNKNOWN
18:38
Harry, what stands out to you about how Jaden Ball has run the ball this year and then as a piece of that, how Florida has been able to run block?
Lonte SmithHOST
6:26
It still can be.
Lonte SmithHOST
6:29
Yeah, that's the side that I would go to because, like you said, it's only one way for Florida to kind of be competitive and try to pull off an upset, and that's to get Jaden Ball involved a lot more, make sure that he's gaining three or four yards to carry, keeping the chains moving not getting behind the chains and if you remember you know buster faulkner who's florida's offensive coordinator he had a lot of success against georgia when he was at georgia tip um those matchups were i think they probably should have won both of those matchups in the last few years so he's had success against that georgia defense against kirby so he knows what it takes to kind of bog them down and if i'm not mistaken i think They scored, like, less than 21 points in the last matchup that they played.
Lonte SmithHOST
7:13
And those Georgia Tech teams are not as talented as what this Florida team is.
Lonte SmithHOST
7:17
So the defense is suspect for Florida at times.
Graham CoffeyGUEST
16:19
So yeah, I, I think, That will be interesting in this game in particular.
Graham CoffeyGUEST
16:26
You know, are they able to get pressure with four? What does that look like? And I think they do need to give a ton of respect to the edges of the defense with a Jaden ball back there.
Graham CoffeyGUEST
16:37
Like you have to be gap sound because if you let that guy get one on one in the open field, he can go a long way on you.

Low energy? Unfocused? Foggy? You might be dehydrated.
David WatersHOST
18:28
And, well, okay, it is a little bit different.
David WatersHOST
18:30
You don't have the quarterback run game that you had with Haynes King leading this Florida offense this year.
David WatersHOST
18:36
But what you do have is the Jaden Ball run game.
David WatersHOST
18:39
And then Missouri comes out.
Ben TroopGUEST
51:31
You talk about, you know, Kamani McClain and that defense.
Ben TroopGUEST
51:35
You talk about a guy in Jaden Ball who was able to reestablish himself running the football.
Ben TroopGUEST
51:39
I think Florida did in the Austin Woods.
Ben TroopGUEST
51:41
They looked in the mirror.
Ben TroopGUEST
54:53
But it's what it does for either quarterback because now – I got a plethora of options.
Ben TroopGUEST
54:59
Oh, shoot.
Ben TroopGUEST
54:59
Oh, and we also have this guy like Jaden Ball that can run the football.
Ben TroopGUEST
55:03
It makes it so that that Georgia defense is on edge for four quarters.
Will ComptonPANELIST
20:14
They're like, we got to have this kid run the ball every time.
Taylor LewanPANELIST
20:17
You were the Jaden Ball of your squad.
Taylor LewanPANELIST
20:18
It's like, give him the ball, we're going to win and lose on his back.
Taylor LewanPANELIST
20:21
That's what it is.
Taylor LewanPANELIST
20:22
Cam Newton.
Taylor LewanPANELIST
20:24
But didn't throw the ball well.
Taylor LewanPANELIST
20:25
Jaden Ball ain't taking snaps.
Taylor LewanPANELIST
20:26
You and I had vastly different Pop Warner experiences.

You and I had vastly different Pop Warner experiences.
Steven LassanGUEST
47:55
Like Georgia has dominated the series, but the scoreboard has been a little closer.
Steven LassanGUEST
48:01
i think the biggest thing is like who starts a quarterback for florida like is it philo is it trammell jones does it matter i think what's going to matter mike is what happens in the trenches because that seems like where this game is going to be decided because can florida get a run game going we saw early in the year how good jaden ball was they ran into some better defenses and jaden ball that run game has not been quite as productive so Buster Faulkner, the last time he played Kirby Smart, they averaged 6.7 yards per play and had over 500 yards when he was at Georgia Tech.
Steven LassanGUEST
48:34
So curious, how does Faulkner's familiarity and Kirby Smart's familiarity with each other – is there one of these sides that has some new stuff, some tweaks – Does that help Florida run the ball with Jaden Ball on Saturday? If it's Tramell Jones, maybe his mobility could help out as well.
Steven LassanGUEST
48:52
Georgia's only given up 4.3 yards per play.
Steven LassanGUEST
48:55
And if we go back to the Texas game, Mike, Florida only had 313 yards in that game.
Connor O'GaraHOST
9:29
That's basically saying we were looking ahead when we were game planning for Western Kentucky.
Connor O'GaraHOST
9:33
You know what we were also doing? We were looking at clips of Jaden Ball going, dang, we're going to have to have our absolute best effort in order to bring that guy down.
Connor O'GaraHOST
9:42
I think that's kind of significant.
Connor O'GaraHOST
9:44
Do you?
Will OgburnHOST
9:45
Yeah, man, I love Kirby so much.
Will OgburnHOST
9:49
The way that he kind of expresses himself, talking about some of the league locker room stuff and everything, I could just see him being a trainer of rabid dogs with a piece of meat that is shaped like Jaden Ball, just being like, this is the target, boys.
Will OgburnHOST
10:00
We're coming after him all year.
Will OgburnHOST
10:02
Because, yeah, I mean, you stop him, you basically stop the Florida offense.
Jeff NaduGUEST
37:51
Um, Florida had 42 rushing yards against Missouri lost by margin.
Jeff NaduGUEST
37:56
You look at against South Carolina, uh, Jaden ball, only 59 yards on the ground lost by 20 or 19.
Jeff NaduGUEST
38:04
Good luck running the ball against Georgia.
Jeff NaduGUEST
38:06
If you can shut down ball, you're probably going to have a pretty good go of it.
