I thought a really good game between the two best teams, I think, in the East right now as far as how they performed in the early going.

I think generally speaking, you saw what we've seen sometimes when these two teams have played in the recent past, which was the speed and the tenacity of Carolina's attack on the puck everywhere had the Bruins scrambling.

They were chasing the game after the first period, the last 40 minutes of the game for long stretches, I thought.

And what we've seen in years past was what we saw this time, which was defensemen weren't making plays as much as they were trying to survive and just get the puck out of the zone.

The managing of the puck was hard because I think players at times were panicking with the puck because they were just under heavy, heavy pressure from Carolina, which they do to everybody.

But, you know, nine shots on net through two periods is not a lot, not a lot of time with the puck and not a lot going on.

And I think there's been a shot disparity in a lot of games for the Bruins this year.

And I think, you know, it did look like the Bruins were not in the same class as the Carolina Hurricanes, even though it was a two to one game.
