Matthew was all over the ice.

Like, that team's gonna be exciting to watch, and I'm telling you, I think they might have, when Marchand comes back, they might have the best t- top nine in hockey.

So they're a playoff team.

I, I think what happened is I just think Brady got lost in the shuffle.

Bucci Grass once made a really good point about nicknames, and I guess, like, you know, the classic ones, like I, you know, you would call me Matzy, like, those are, I guess, something you would actually call a person.

But, like, the idea of, like, "Hey, Little Ball of Hate, I'm open with the puck.

Little Ball of Hate" that's not a good nickname.

It's, it's good for sports writers to have something else to say.

They got to watch the game now.

and be like, wow, I would love to go out there right now where no one's cross-checking me and no one's slashing me and no one's face-washing me and Brad Marchand's not doing his thing.

I would wonder if next time I see them, I'm going to ask them when they watch the games now if they're just like, wow, it would be a lot of fun.

And that's what Cole Perfetti has to do to be effective.

And I always thought that his game was a little incomplete.

And based on the role that he was given, the Florida Panthers didn't want to put too much pressure on him.

But Jack Devine, him and Sandus Vilmanis are the ones who make the team, and the Panthers have two players on their entry-level deals.

Uh, that means that you're going to have one, um, what, at least one, one way contract have to go through waivers.

And when Brad Marchand does come back, it's a little easier later in the season when, when it comes to sending guys down in order to get Brad Marchand back into the mix, because the Panthers are going to have 4.9 million.

in cap relief with both Martian and Jonah Gajewicz on LTIR to start the year and you're gonna have to call up one and send down two because the Panthers are going to be short of that roster limit but again Panthers consistently working as five-man units on the ice and it wasn't necessarily one guy taking uh taking uh over uh or trying to make make the make a play so you see you this is all about trying to see, uh, how, how you fit and where, especially where guys are going to be off puck.
