And you remind me too that, that, um, you mentioned in the interview, I think, about, uh, the kind of the rising popularity of Catholic education, and it kinda resonated, rang true to me 'cause I think, you know, as you see like, you know, Western culture decline, devolve, and just break down, fracture, it's looking for some kinda stability, some kinda sanity, right? And the Church is preserving that in her teachings and a sense of order, and it's, "This is the way it is," right? [laughs] And is that, is that what you were talking about or-
Uh, and they, they don't say it's because we agree with the Catholics on everything.
But they say in the, in the public school, uh, they pretend to be very tolerant and open-minded and multicultural and all these kind of buzzwords-
... you know, all this kinda stuff, right? So you get this sort of nice pat on the head for, for being diverse-
Um, and they say at a Catholic school, we agree on a lot of things, we disagree on other things, but at least we're respected, uh, and, and we're allowed to engage as who we are.
We're not sort of paternalized, you know? Or is that a word, paternalized? [laughs]
Um, I mean, but that's one thing, but, but uh, another thing is just more and more, uh, Catholics or other committed Christians who, uh, their experience of the public school system has, has left them jaded for one reason or another.
