Paradise City

Yeah.

Uh, so then I sing, um, "Take me down to the paradise city." And everybody, bishops, religious sisters-

[laughs]

... you know, probably you that day-

Mm

...

Paradise City is one of the great, um, rock and rolls.

I mean, if you just said, you know, "Give me your top five songs in any genre"-

You have a lot of other stations to talk to today, so I'll try to be concise as best as I can.

You are, I mean, a legend, as I just already said, but with Sweet Child of Mine, the videos you directed, Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City, Patience, It's So Easy.

Is it so easy to pick your favorite? Sorry for the crappy pun, but do you have a favorite looking back on it now?

um that's a very good question uh well they were all kind of crazy in their own way uh the videos that is so very often the the reason you're happy with a piece of work is due to the fact that somehow despite the insanity that was going on at the time you managed to complete it so it's not necessarily to do with the art of it, if you like.

And I mean, there is no fixed... way that videos came together, whichever artist I was working for.

So I was happy to see with their continued success, really, on some level.

So the fact that you've made a commercial in inverted commas for Paradise City, Welcome to the Jungle, and so on, and Sweet Child.

Okay, I've done that.

Nigel directed Welcome to the Jungle.

And he also directed Sweet Child of Mine and Paradise City.

Patience.

And what was the last one? It's So Easy.
